Community Education Forums

New for 2010, the Society on Aging in New Jersey will be providing Community Education Forums at senior centers and 55+ Adult Communities throughout the state. The purpose of the forums will be to educate seniors on the services available to them. This is being done so that - should the time come when a senior needs help - they will be able to make an educated decision in which direction they should go.

The forums will feature a panel of experts representing a Home Care Agency, Hospice Group, Assisted Living facility, and a Skilled Nursing Facility. The presenters will speak 7-8 minutes on their area of expertise, followed by a Q & A session.
